Had a lot of early mornings and late nights recently and I haven’t not yawned at least once a minute for the last hour or so. So I’m going to put Iron Man in the DVD player, which I couldn’t watch properly last time it was on due to watching my baby daughter, and snooze.
That is all. I’m too exhausted to write more.
I have recently been rereading The Immortal Game by David Shenk. When I say rereading I am listening via audio book this time as I have been nodding off to sleep.
It’s always a difference experience reading via listening.
Anyway. To the point. I have been studying the game and it’s brilliance and discovered this image via wikipedia:

The Immortal Game
Adolf Anderssen and Lionel Kieseritzky played this game out in 1851 at the Simpson’s-in-the-Strand Divan in London.
I’ll find a permanent place for this image soon.
I have spent the night watching history in the making.
Barack Obama is to be the new President of the United States.
There are times in a lifetime when you realise that something special is happening. Something that will change the world for the better. Something that is literally history in the making.
Watching this landslide victory unfold it was easy to forget that some black people of America alive today once did not even have the right to vote, and today they have a black president.
That’s the historical.
But even more important is what Obama stands for and where, hopefully, he will take America and the world. A country that has been hated, and in some cases laughed at, in recent years around the world has taken it’s first steps to rebuild it’s reputation.
From voting in a dangerous clown for two terms in office I truly believe that an amazing change is coming.
I had shivers down my spine watching his victory speech.
Well done America. Well done President Obama.
Video of my 1 year 1 month old daughter doing a rather good impression of a cat.
Buggy as hell!
The new 3D match engine seems pretty enough however watching the other team score while you are substituting your goalkeeper and there is an empty net isn’t quiet so entertaining.
I played 2 matches and then the game crashed.
I will be holding out for the patched retail version I think.
Back to FM 2008 for me.

I haven’t been following the Chess world that closely recently but I have to congratulate Viswanathan Anand on retaining his title:

No, I am not talking about the domain name for this blog for a change.
Our family is now in our new house. I mentioned the move a few posts ago and we made it in one piece.
I have actually been in the house since Tuesday and my step children came up on the Friday night. The removals arrived early Saturday afternoon and I spent the afternoon and evening unloading the van with the removals men, putting up furniture and beds and unpacking.
I am tired, covered in bruises and sore.
But we are in our new house and it’s amazing.
Good question.
Well, I recently saw the Jazz.me domain name sell for 5k and deceided that 5k+ is worth more to me than a catchy domain name.
So Munch.Me is now up for sale as you can see if you visit the page.

I had a long conversation with someone who I had’t talked to for a long while, probably at least six months. It was like, well I don’t know how I can describe it, except to say it was fun.
As for Java? Well I haven’t done much pure, in a loose sense, Java programming after exploring the Android and Apple SDK’s. It may be time to pick up on a couple of projects I left off of a while ago.
I also have some web developement projects that I invested some time into a few weeks ago that need reviewing.
Oh, and we still aren’t completely packed.
